Our cattery is
located in a rural area of sunny San Diego, California. The weather
is nice enough that our cats are allowed to live in outdoor
enclosures (see Our Cattery page!), and they just love watching the
birds fly into the nearby trees, the lizards scurrying into the
bushes, and our handsome Wolfdog playing with his toys. We also
enrich their time by taking them on walks around the yard on their
harnesses (yes, cats on leashes!), letting them play with falling
leaves and lay in the green grass. Most of the photos taken of our
Bengals are on their walks. Our young kittens, of course, are born
indoors, before curiously venturing into one of our enclosures at the
age of 9 weeks (and after their first shots!).
Our whole family
is
dedicated to our Bengals; we share the responsibilities of cleaning,
feeding, and – best of all! – socializing our beautiful kittens.
We make sure each kitten gets as much love and human interaction as
possible before going to their new home. They are our precious ones,
and so many of our adopters contact us months later, with photos and
enthusiastic thank-yous! We have posted some of them on our
Testimonials page.
Currently, we
are
focusing our Breeding Program on Charcoals (see our About Charcoal
page). We have several charcoal breeding cats, along with several
complimentary colors – for example, we are working on our own line
of Charcoal Snow, as well as improving the Charcoal Marble with a
more striking pattern! We are also DNA testing each of the breeding
Charcoals in our cattery, to help prove the Charcoal color theory. We
agree with it, and support the goal of Charcoals becoming their own
color classification! To that end, we are always looking for charcoal
breeding cats from new lines to advance the process.
